Kind + Jugend ASEAN 2023 presents the "Innovation Award" recognizing innovation in baby and kids products

Kind + Jugend ASEAN, the premier trade show for baby and kids products in ASEAN, held its first edition of the prestigous Innovation Awards. After months of evaluation through a panel of jury, the winners for each of the 7 categories were awarded on April 6, 2023 during the event. Products were evaluated on the basis of innovation, safety, additional utility for the consumer, product design, quality of workmanship, and sustainability.

Mr. Prakash Ramajillu, General Manager of Koelnmesse Pte Ltd., shared that Kind + Jugend is a pivotal meeting place for market experts and industry professionals in the baby and kids products industry to network and collaborate in bringing the industry to the next level. As the premier trade show for baby and kids products in ASEAN, one of the highlights that has made the event highly regarded and successful is the Innovation Award, a recognition that represents the advancement of innovation standards in the market. The ground-breaking products will challenge the offerings in the industry, eventually helping babies, parents and increasing the quality of goods produced, making parenting a greater joy.

The winners of the World of Moving Kids award is Micro by Pacific Point in the Moving Kids category, with their Luggage Eazy, the best helper that is both luggage and stroller in one. The bag has a zip opening from the front, which can be detached to convert into a handy handcart that is convenient to use in both ways. In the Baby Carrier category, the award winner is Kangkabam, with their Instant Comfort Baby Carrier, a baby carrier that adjusts to fit both baby and carrier. It is made from 100% cotton and special silky weave that is flexible, cool, slippery, good dust trapping, and ergonomic design allows weight distribution without pressure points, up to 15 kg.

The winner of the World of Travelling Kids award is Glowy Star in the Children Car Seats category, with their I-Orbitta Car seat product that meets the latest European i-Size safety standards. The product can be rotated 360 degrees, with installation assistance and intelligent safety monitoring through indicator lights and alarm sounds.

The winner of the World of Kids Furniture award is HOYO in the Baby Cribs and Beds category, with their HOYO playpen, which can be adjusted with more than 26 functions to suit the development of the child from birth. The product is made with highly flexible intelligent wall panels, suitable for the baby to learn to stand from 5 months and walk faster than usual.

The winner of the World of Kids Textiles award is Granny Ben in the Childrens Accessories category, with their Smart Bib. It is a soft-touch bib, interlaced with innovative quick-drying, quick-absorbent, and woven from environmentally friendly and highly resilient fibers.

The winner of the World of Kids Care award is Bebe Ploen in the Baby - Hygiene & Care category, with their Babe Organic Soothing Moisture Calming Cream, an organic dry skin cream that is easily absorbed, combining the value of DEFENSIL PLUS and OMEGA PLUS natural extracts that help relieve dry skin symptoms, along with revitalizing and helping to strengthen the skin. The winner of the World of Kids Toys award is Plan Creations – Plan Toys in the Wooden Clutching Toys category with their Pull Along Hedgehog product, a hedgehog-shaped wooden toy that trains gross motor skills through walking and pulling, with sound making to encourage children to want to walk more.

The winner of the World of Nutrition award is Lamoon Baby in the La-moon Vita, Synbiotic-Prolacto Yogurt Flavor, which helps balance the intestinal microflora and reduces bloating by 43%.
