Allianz Ayudhya appoints Thomas Wilsonas the new President and CEO Allianz Ayudhya Assurance PCL.

Allianz Ayudhya Assurance pcl. has appointed Thomas Wilson as the new President and CEO. He also serves as the Country Manager for Allianz Thailand.

Mr. Thomas Wilson has been with Allianz SE for more than 12 years since 2008, supervising global risk management policies and directions. His highest position at Allianz SE was the Global Chief Risk Officer, before assuming the position of Deputy CEO & Head of Distribution at Allianz Ayudhya in Thailand five months ago. Mr. Wilson is now the current CEO and President of Allianz Ayudhya.

Prior to his appointment in Thailand, Mr. Wilson was a leader of the global functional risk network at Allianz SE and was responsible for navigating through multiple financial crises. He will bring his extended experience during his years serving as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Swiss Re New Markets, the Chief Risk Officer at ING Insurance, the Managing Director, Global Head Finance & Risk Practice at Oliver Wyman & Company and the Principal, Global Head Risk Management Practice at McKinsey & Company to lead the Allianz Ayudhya team.
